When Vienna exclaims, “Oooooh, YUMMY, YUMMY,” and Walker chimes in with, “Mmmm, this is really good,” I know I’ve made a tasty smoothie! They managed to finish it in under five minutes, which is exactly what happened with this creamy raspberry smoothie. It was a challenge to snap a photo because Vienna kept dipping her finger into it.
This smoothie recipe is perfect if you’re looking for something that tastes like cheesecake but is also good for you.
Enjoy, friends!

*Sounds delicious. I’d love to make it for my grandchildren. They can’t have cashews, though. Can I leave them out or is there an alternative?*
Absolutely! You can leave out the cashews and instead use half an avocado for creaminess. You can also try other nuts, like almonds, but soak them for about an hour to soften.

*Looks delicious! I don’t have cashews. Would almonds work, or do I need a softer nut?*
For the creamy texture, cashews are ideal. However, soaking almonds for about an hour can soften them. You might also try adding half an avocado for extra creaminess.

*I just made this and am enjoying it as I write. Delicious! I didn’t have any protein powder, so I used pure vanilla extract.*
That’s great! Glad you’re enjoying it.

*Can you recommend a yogurt brand, please?*
I recommend Best Baa Farm sheep yogurt here in Ontario, or Kefir Kult, which has a thinner, liquidy consistency.

*For someone with peanut and tree nut allergies, what could replace the cashews?*
You can omit them and add coconut manna or coconut butter for creaminess.

Thank you so much! This is perfect for the summer. I’m glad I found this website.
You’re welcome! Enjoy!

*Hey Joy, what can I use instead of cashews? Thanks.*
Try using coconut cream for a similar creamy texture, or raw walnuts or almonds, though they won’t be as creamy.

*I made it, and it was REALLY good. Both my toddler boys loved it and even asked for it again another day. I’ve also made it for myself a few times already!*
Haha! I’m so happy to hear that!

*Can you recommend a protein powder brand that’s kid-friendly, please?*
I really like Manitoba Harvest, especially the plain version. Here’s the link: [Manitoba Harvest](https://amzn.to/4aVHtfM). Enjoy your smoothies!
