JUMP TO RECIPE
Hey everyone, I’ve whipped up my fair share of desserts over the years, but these Coconut Chocolate Cups? They’re on a whole different level. With just four simple and wholesome ingredients, you can create a no-bake, refined sugar-free treat that’s irresistibly delicious and addictive.
I got the idea for these after trying a chocolate coconut cup from a health food store. It hit me — why not make them at home?
If you love chocolate (and who doesn’t?), coconut, and the natural sweetness of raw honey, you’re in for a treat!
Why You’ll Adore These Coconut Chocolate Cups:
These delightful bites are not just easy to make, they’re also:
– Coconut – The Chewy Core: Unsweetened shredded coconut provides a chewy, rich texture with a hint of natural sweetness. It’s packed with healthy fats, perfectly complementing the chocolate.
– Raw Honey – Sweet and Nutritious: Raw honey is a natural sweetener that’s loaded with antimicrobial properties, antioxidants, and minerals, adding a gentle sweetness to the coconut layer. Be sure to use raw, unpasteurized honey to reap all the benefits.
– Chocolate – The Decadent Embrace: Melted dark chocolate chips, paired with a bit of coconut oil, become velvety smooth and set to a satisfying snap when frozen. Pure bliss!
For the molds, I grabbed some from Amazon. If you have a different size, just adjust the number of cups you make accordingly. Use a silicone candy mold about 1 inch wide to create 12 coconut chocolate cups.
These treats are perfect for after-dinner indulgence, a mid-afternoon boost, or sharing with friends (if you don’t end up eating them all yourself — no judgment here!).
