Healthy Mango Tango Granola Bars

Healthy Mango Tango Granola Bars

JUMP TO RECIPE

Let’s be honest, it’s tough to find great quality granola bars that are low in sugar or sugar-free without breaking the bank. That’s exactly why you need to try making these Mango Tango Bars. Filled with wholesome and delicious ingredients, they’ll have you excited to pack them for lunch or bring along on your next hike for a healthy, satisfying snack.

The dried mango adds a delightful surprise, complemented by dates, seeds, and more! My daughter Vienna insists on adding chocolate chips, but feel free to leave them out if you prefer no sugar at all.

These bars also freeze beautifully, but if you’re planning to eat them within 4 to 5 days, just store them in the fridge or a cool pantry.

The batch yields 14 bars when cut lengthwise like I did, but you can also make them into squares if you’d like. They hold together nicely. If you find they’re not sticky enough after processing, just add a few more dates.

Here’s the recipe.

By the way, my son remarked how wonderful the kitchen smelled before they even came out of the oven. They’re a softer granola bar, but totally delicious!
