Is Detoxing Right for You? Definitely!

Is Detoxing Right for You? Definitely!

You might be wondering why you should even consider all this during the holidays. Well, it turns out that people who set their New Year’s resolutions in December have a much higher chance of accomplishing them compared to those who don’t. Also, knowing that you’ve committed to a healthier, happier you in January can help you make better choices—maybe skipping that second slice of Christmas pudding or extra glass of wine.

That’s why I’ve been so excited to talk about my Joyous 10-Day Detox early on. I want as many people as possible to experience how amazing it feels to start cleansing your body. My goal is for people to adopt these habits permanently—yes, it’s really possible!

Why consider detoxing? It gives your body a much-needed break, allowing it to eliminate toxins more effectively. Every day, your body deals with various toxins:

– From the food you eat, which might contain additives, chemicals, processed ingredients, sugar, or fried foods.
– From the air you breathe, which can include pollutants and chemicals from things like paint and furniture.
– From products you use on your skin, like lotions and shampoos, which may have harmful ingredients such as parabens and SLS.
– From toxins reabsorbed in your colon if you’re not eliminating regularly (ideally, you should be going 1-2 times per day). A “dirty” gut can manifest as skin issues like acne or eczema.

Your body also naturally generates toxins through its metabolic processes.

Feeling a bit “unclean” now? Let’s focus on how detoxing can help and introduce habits that support this:

– Eat foods that support your liver’s detoxification processes.
– Increase your fiber intake to help your body expel toxins more easily.
– Start your day with a large glass of water mixed with half a squeezed lemon, two capfuls of apple cider vinegar, or a scoop of Greens+Organic on an empty stomach.
– Exercise daily to boost circulation and help expel toxins through sweat and breath.
– Practice deep breathing.
– Cultivate gratitude—it reduces cortisol levels and improves your body’s detoxification capabilities.

As part of our new Spring 2013 program, “21 Days to a Joyous New You: Eat Clean, Body Lean,” we’re emphasizing the importance of moving your body every day. However, it’s crucial to balance exercise so it’s not too intense. Listen to your body—sometimes less is more. Gentle activities like walking or stretching can be effective without causing exhaustion.

You’ve got until December 31st to sign up and get a 10% discount on my Joyous Online 10-Day Detox. It’s a wonderful holiday gift for your loved ones—giving the gift of health is truly meaningful.

A quick note: If you’re considering the detox, it’s dairy-free. The difference between the vegan and vegetarian options is that the vegetarian option includes eggs, which are not considered dairy.

Remember, it’s never too late to improve your health—even reducing negative influences in your life can be a form of detox.
