Hi Joy, great episode! Quick question about a previous episode, JPH012, on aging gracefully: I’ve noticed Asians often look younger than others. Is there a known reason for this? Could it be linked to genetics? Thanks, Florence
There’s likely a genetic component. Here’s an article that explores this: https://www.thejakartapost.com/life/2016/10/03/do-asians-really-age-more-slowly.html

First-time listener and I’m hooked! Thanks for sharing this amazing info, Joy and Jenn!
Glad you’re enjoying it, Jana! Jenn is fantastic—feel free to explore more episodes.

Hi Joy,
Should I see my GP about the DUTCH test? I live in a small town and wonder if they’ll be familiar with it…
Thanks!
The DUTCH test typically isn’t offered through a GP. I suggest reaching out to a naturopath or someone like Jenn who can facilitate this test.

I once spent a lot on medications from hospitals hoping to cure my herpes infection, but nothing worked. I consulted many doctors who tried their best but couldn’t provide a cure. Eventually, I learned about a doctor who uses herbal medicine for treatment and decided to try it. I’m happy with that decision as herbal medicine turned out to be the solution to herpes and other health issues. How can I manage alopecia? Is there hope? Should I get a DUTCH test, and what other tests should I consider? I’m seeing a dermatologist for the first time on Nov 6th and want to prepare with questions. Any advice would be appreciated.
A DUTCH test is a great starting point. Dermatologists may prescribe medication, but it might not address the underlying issue. Consulting a Naturopathic Doctor or certified nutritionist can be beneficial. Jenn Pike would be a great option if she’s accepting new clients—I highly recommend her!
