Protein-Packed Chocolate Truffles

Protein-Packed Chocolate Truffles

JUMP TO RECIPE

I’ve been enjoying these every afternoon with a cup of herbal tea, and they keep me satisfied until dinner. Adding a bit of protein powder turns them into energy balls!

If you liked my No-Bake Chocolate Truffles from a couple of years back, you’re going to love this improved version.

Here’s why you’ll love these truffles:

They freeze well and can last in the fridge for about a week. Personally, I enjoy their texture when they’re fresh from the freezer. Here’s the recipe!

This will make 18-22 balls. You can leave out the protein powder if you want. Just use half the amount of water if you do.

Wishing you a joyful holiday season!

These are delicious—thanks, Joy! You’re amazing! Merry Christmas!

Thanks, Jen! Merry Christmas to you too!

I’ve made these sweet truffles several times, rolling them in hemp hearts. For the cacao powder, I used Josh Gitalis Elixir instead, and even my husband loved them! GH vanilla protein…

This last batch, I reduced the sweetness by using 7 dates and 7 prunes, and I love them! They make a nice afternoon snack with a cup of tea.

Thanks, Lela!

Great tip with Josh’s elixir powder! I’m going to try that too—thank you!
