Refreshing Iced Tea

Refreshing Iced Tea

JUMP TO RECIPE

I enjoy tea every day of the year, and during the hot summer months, I keep a pitcher of this Rejuvenating Iced Tea in my fridge. It’s a quick and revitalizing drink that nourishes my body and makes me feel great inside and out. You’re going to love this recipe!

This tea is a refreshing mix of two fantastic organic teas: Rejuvenate and Radiance. I like to add lemon and lime wedges along with fresh mint from my garden—mint is one of the easiest herbs to grow, and it’s one of my favorites!

Drinking this tea offers plenty of benefits because it’s packed with nutrients that support overall health. It contains no additives like coloring, flavoring, or preservatives, which I believe have no place in tea.

Every ingredient in this iced tea is beneficial for your health:

– **Organic Green Rooibos:** A caffeine-free tea from South Africa, green rooibos has a mild taste and is rich in antioxidants and minerals like iron, potassium, and zinc.

– **Lemongrass:** Known for its sweet lemony taste, this grass aids digestion and offers antibacterial and antioxidant protection.

– **Ginger:** Traditionally used to support digestive health, ginger reduces intestinal gas and symptoms of motion sickness while providing anti-inflammatory benefits.

– **Milk Thistle:** This flowering plant supports liver detoxification, hormonal balance, skin health, and offers anti-inflammatory benefits for the kidneys and gastrointestinal system.

Our Rejuvenate tea blend was the first wellness tea we introduced 8 years ago, and it’s been a favorite ever since! It pairs perfectly with our Radiance tea for an iced tea.

Here’s a look at some key ingredients in our Radiance tea:

– **Nettle:** With anti-inflammatory properties, nettle may help prevent skin conditions. It’s also a natural diuretic that helps the body shed excess water.

– **Moringa:** Known for its skin healing benefits, moringa is rich in antioxidants, vitamins A and C, and supports gut health. It’s a hidden gem for skincare and overall health.

– **Rose:** Bursting with antioxidants, rose strengthens and protects skin cells. It has been used in traditional cultures to promote digestive wellness, which is key to a glowing complexion.

Unlike many store-bought iced teas that are full of sugar, these teas are so flavorful you might not even need a sweetener. But if you do, I recommend using natural options like honey, monkfruit, or liquid stevia.

Feeling snacky? Pair this tea with some Everything Guacamole for a savory treat. Craving something sweet? It goes perfectly with a slice of Paleo Carrot Cake for a healthy dessert.

Enjoy!
